NM Insurance, a leading specialist insurance agency operating across Australia and New Zealand, is proud to be celebrating its 20th anniversary this month. Today, NM Insurance encompasses nine specialist insurance brands with five offices and a team of over 100.

The NM Insurance journey began in April 2005 with a focus on recreational boat insurance in Australia. Today, NM Insurance is a leading provider of consumer and commercial insurance solutions for the marine, motorcycling, caravanning and cargo markets across Australia and New Zealand. NM Insurance has nine specialist insurance brands some of which include Nautilus Marine Insurance, Australian Caravan Insurance, National Motorcycle Insurance, and Proteus Marine Insurance.

In celebrating the 20th anniversary, NM Insurance Chief Executive Officer Lyndon Turner said "Our 20th anniversary is an important milestone for NM Insurance and an opportunity to reflect on how we've grown as a business as we look ahead and plan for the next 20 years and beyond. In 2005, we started with a strategy to offer premium coverage and service at competitive rates. That offer has not changed as NM Insurance has grown and diversified over the last two decades, and we're proud to have been on the journey with our customers and partners throughout this time."

As NM Insurance celebrates its 20th anniversary, the company acknowledges the vital role that its partners have played in its growth and success. From its early days in 2005, NM Insurance has worked closely with brokers, dealer networks, and industry partners to deliver tailored insurance solutions.

Glen Schembri, NM Insurance's Head of Client & Market Development, reflects on this enduring support, saying: "Our success over the past 20 years has been built on the trust and support of our distribution partners - insurance brokers, networks, and industry partners. Their commitment has shaped our journey, and as we celebrate this milestone, we look forward to strengthening these partnerships and forging new ones across Australia and New Zealand."

NM Insurance's trans-Tasman footprint now encompasses over 100 team members and five offices located across Australia and New Zealand, with a recent expansion of the Australian operations including the opening of new offices in Victoria and Western Australia. These new offices joined the established locations in Sydney, Auckland, and Brisbane, and reflect an ongoing commitment to providing outstanding local service and support to our partners and customers.

Trish Flaherty is the NM Insurance Business Development Manager for South Australia, Western Australia and the Northern Territory. Based in Adelaide, Trish has been on the NM Insurance team for 18 years. "My family have all been involved with boats, and I've worked in insurance my whole career. My time with NM Insurance has been an amazing journey. Many things have changed over the last two decades, as we've grown and expanded into all aspects of the marine market, motorcycles, caravans and cargo. What hasn't changed is our positive culture, commitment to our customers and partners, the quality of our coverage, and our personal approach to service and claims."

Lyndon Turner is looking forward to the next 20 years. "In celebrating our 20th year, I would especially like to thank the team, our partners, and our clients for their continued support. It's a privilege to lead such a brilliant team and work with some fantastic customers and partners. There's been so much change over the last 20 years, from market movements to natural disasters, but we've been able to respond to these changes and keep growing. Most importantly, when something goes wrong, we're there for our customers when it really counts and strive to provide the highest levels of claims service and support."
