Joshua Chant’s Online Sailor Database- Your missing crew awaits

by Joshua Chant on 18 Jun 2012
Missing crew? visit www.joshuachant.com/sailor-database/ Joshua Chant
Often the biggest challenge in yacht racing is not buying or maintaining a yacht. It’s finding the right combination of crew members to build a winning team.

Coach and sailor Joshua Chant knows all too well how difficult and time consuming it can be to find the perfect crew.

That’s why he has launched the Online Sailor Database which he describes as 'Australia’s most comprehensive catalogue of sailors.'

The Database allows sailors to locate and connect with other sailors of all sizes, skills and experience – in one location.

'Never again will you have to sail shorthanded or with an inexperienced crew,' he says.

The Database includes information on sailors’ weight, height and experience.

Sailors currently on the list range in weight from 40 to 100kgs and from amateur to professional (including Olympic) level. They are based in areas all around Australia.

'If you’re a sailor looking to join a team, the Database is a great way to do that too,' says Joshua.

Whether a sailor is looking to join or create a team, Joshua says the Database is easy to use.

Crew-seekers simply visit the site, search and contact the sailors you are after. Sailors can quickly register their details to join the database themselves.

'No matter what you’re after, the Database is a free, quick and painless way to build your ideal team, so you are free to get back out on the water in no time.'

Visit www.joshuachant.com to find out more, or go straight to www.joshuachant.com/sailor-database/ to find your missing crew-member!

About Joshua Chant Online Sailor Database

Sailor, coach and Sydney resident, Joshua Chant created the Database after years of headaches trying to source sailors of specific weights and skill levels for his own teams and for those of others. Joshua has competed extensively in Lasers, Etchells, Farr 40s and Melges 24s, and has also participated in some short offshore racing. Passionate about coaching and assisting sailors and their teams, Joshua’s site is all about promoting the best racing conditions for Australian sailing.
