The 29er Class is thrilled to launch the 29er Awards 2025 — a global celebration of the sailors, coaches and stories that made this season unforgettable.

This year, we're recognising not only sporting excellence, but also the creativity, spirit and culture that make the 29er community so unique.

Creative & Community Categories

This class is more than a racing fleet — it's a global community full of energy, fun, stories and incredible creativity.

Sailing isn't just about speed — it's about style, ideas, and impact.
These awards celebrate the sailors who make the 29er community more colorful, creative, and conscious.

  • Sportsmanship award
  • Best Team Spirit
  • Most Stylish Sailor
  • Sustainability award
  • Most creative sailor (Kidzink award)

How to Nominate & Vote

For some awards, you'll find a shortlist based on season results and international performances.
These categories cannot be freely nominated — you will directly vote between finalists.

During the voting phase, you will simply choose your favourite among the official finalists.

For many other categories — especially the creative & community-focused awards — nominations are open to everyone.

Anyone can nominate sailors, teams, coaches, creators, volunteers, clubs or events.

Special Award - Creative Sailor of the Year (by Kidzink)

We are introducing a special external prize:
Creative Sailor of the Year, selected directly by Kidzink.

This award does not include public nominations or voting. Kidzink will independently choose the sailor who best expresses creativity, originality and visual impact within the 29er community.
