Part of the Ancasta Group, the award-winning team at Sanlorenzo Yachts UK has added another prestigious accolade to its growing list of achievements.

At an exclusive ceremony during the recent Cannes Yachting Festival, Sanlorenzo Yachts UK was awarded Sales Performance of the Year for Bluegame Yachts. This global award recognises the team's outstanding success, having achieved more Bluegame sales than any other dealer worldwide.

"This recognition goes beyond commercial success; it is a testament to the professionalism, dedication, and passion of our UK team, as well as the invaluable support and commitment of our colleagues at the Bluegame shipyard in Italy," says Nick Hatfield, Managing Director at Sanlorenzo Yachts UK.

"Although Bluegame is a relatively young yacht brand compared to some, it has already established itself as a distinctive force in the UK market. We are proud to represent such a forward-thinking and innovative brand that offers a truly fresh approach to yachting."

Founded in 2004 by Olympic sailor and architect Luca Santella, Bluegame became part of the Sanlorenzo Group in 2018. With a philosophy centred on innovation, sustainability, and the creation of versatile yachts that defy traditional categorisation, the brand continues to gain momentum - with UK buyers leading the charge.

Hatfield continues: "Bluegame's owner-focused layouts, robust engineering, and exceptionally high level of standard specification are proving hugely appealing to our discerning UK clients. The shipyard's continuous development demonstrates a relentless drive to push design boundaries, as seen with the debut of the pioneering BGF45 in Cannes - an incredible feat of engineering using foil technology to enhance performance, efficiency and comfort.

"And Düsseldorf 2026 will bring the arrival of a new flagship in the BGX range - an exciting series that combines the adventurous spirit of an explorer yacht with uncompromising luxury and functionality."

Alongside its success in new yacht sales, Sanlorenzo Yachts UK continues to excel in the luxury yacht brokerage market. Building on this strong performance, the company will expand its team and its presence later this year with the opening of a new showroom in London's Mayfair, complementing its established base in Swanwick, Southampton.

"With our new location, we're taking an important step in extending our reach and reinforcing our commitment to our UK clients," Hatfield adds. "Many of our clients live, work, or travel frequently through London, and this showroom will give us the ability to meet them on their terms. Time is our clients' most precious commodity, and this presence in the capital will save them exactly that."

The new Sanlorenzo Yachts UK London office is scheduled to open in December 2025.
