ZeroJet, the pioneer of next-generation electric jet propulsion, has developed a new electric RIB package built on the highly respected AB Inflatables Lammina AL platform. This initiative introduces a high-performance, cost-effective electric tender option to the market, combining AB Inflatables' renowned hull design with ZeroJet's powerful and integrated jet propulsion system. The result is a new level of performance, safety, and accessibility on the water.

This new product line offers customers a seamless, pre-installed package: the trusted AB Inflatables Lammina AL RIB with a ZeroJet Tiller Steer electric jet drive. This fully integrated solution delivers a smooth, quiet ride with the exhilaration and manoeuvrability that only a jet boat can offer. The fully concealed jet drive significantly enhances safety for swimmers and allows for effortless operation in shallow water, giving boaters the freedom to explore coastlines and beaches with confidence. The tiller steer configuration provides intuitive, direct control and maximises open deck space, making it a highly practical and user-friendly solution.

ZeroJet's CEO, James Morton, stated, "We saw a market need for a more accessible electric tender—one that could deliver outstanding performance at a more competitive price point. The Lammina AL is a perfect match for our Gen-3 tiller steer system because it's incredibly lightweight and efficient. This combination allows us to offer a compelling option that performs exceptionally well, even when loaded with people or gear, all while being a cost-effective choice for the cruising market."

The new Generation 3 system delivers 15kW of continuous power, providing an unrivalled power-to-weight performance equivalent to a 20Hp outboard. It is powered by two 2.7kWh semi-solid-state LiPo4 batteries, offering the safest chemistry available. The system's new 48V battery architecture with a minimum of two packs creates redundancy and a low-profile design. The 11 AL weighs 180 kg with the jet and batteries and has a range of up to 26 NM. With the option to add up to two range-extending batteries, users can achieve a cruising range of over 20 nautical miles at 12 knots. This makes it the ideal tender for the cruising market, offering a no-petrol, virtually maintenance-free experience. ZeroJet is so confident in the new system's reliability that it provides a 3-year jet and battery warranty as standard, with no service requirement during this period. The intelligent design of the rear jet box means the forward locker is free for storage, further increasing the versatility of the boat.

"We are glad to know that the engineering and quality of our tenders will serve many customers seeking an electric propulsion alternative", said Jaime Cristancho, Chief Sales & Marketing Officer at AB Marine Group.

The new ZeroJet-powered AB Inflatables RIB package will be available through authorised AB Inflatables and ZeroJet dealers. The initial launch will focus on the US and European markets, with availability in Australia and New Zealand to follow.
