2024 ILCA Under 21 World Championship at Viana do Castelo, Portugal - Day 2

The second day of racing is in the books for the 2024 ILCA Under 21 World Championship in Viana do Castelo, running from July 1st to 8th. Thursday was another gorgeous day for sailing, with warm and sunny conditions and a good breeze of around 13-15 kts.

The day once again began at 11:45 with the D Flags up for the yellow ILCA 7 and ILCA 6 fleets. The wind was moving in from 330º, starting at 10 knots, and built up to 17 knots by the second race. All fleets completed both races today.

Tomorrow is the last day for the Men's Qualification series, which will then be split into Gold and Silver fleets on Saturday. As the qualifying series progresses, the enthusiasm among the sailors remains high in this beautiful coastal city.
