New Hylas M49 ready to debut at 2023 Miami International Boat Show

by Hylas Yachts 8 Feb 2023 21:11 UTC February 15-19, 2023

Hylas, the worldwide respected sail and powerboat builder, is set to introduce an exciting new offering at the 2023 Miami International Boat Show.

The new Hylas M49 encapsulates all the best cruising yacht qualities: she is a spacious, fuel-efficient, fast, and an exceptionally well crafted yacht.

As an entertainment platform, the M49 truly excels with a barbecue, multiple heads option, excellent refrigeration, a full galley with a dinette, and a hydraulic swim platform.

The yacht also has highly functional features. A helm station that is best in class with excellent all-round visibility and no blind spots from stem to stern. These features exist within a footprint that uses natural light to create a bright and inclusive environment, all built with the expert level of attention to detail that customers have long come to expect from Hylas.

The M49 was designed in conjunction with New Zealand firm Salthouse. The designer is an exceptionally experienced creator of Down East style vessels, with a well-proven track record of seaworthy, efficient, and stylish boats to their credit. Salthouse hull designs in particular have a strong heritage of commercial-fishing and offshore-angling vessels. The result is a luxurious yacht that provides a comfortable and confidence-inspiring ride. Supremely rugged and capable of withstanding nearly any sea.

Further features that will make this yacht stand out from her competition include: an aft galley that's excellent for entertaining, spacious living areas, a handcrafted wooden interior, two staterooms and two heads, multiple dining tables, an optional washing machine, and twin 370-horsepower Yanmar engines that offer dependable and sporty propulsion.

The M49 will join her smaller sistership, the M44 as part of Hylas's power lineup, which is quickly becoming one of the industry's finest.
