Hamish Pepper and Craig Monk will be a no-show at the first qualifying round for the 2012 Olympics in the Star class.
The Herald on Sunday reports that the crew have split, and that former Star World Champion and 2008 Olympic representative in the class, Hamish Pepper is going alone with a new crew, who does not yet have NZ Residency.
Craig Monk, while new to the Star class is an Olympic bronze medalist in the singlehanded Finn class, and an America's Cup winning grinder from the 1995 win in San Diego.
