Audi MedCup Circuit CARGO S.A
Audi MedCup - Ngoni, the second Soto40 to land in Europe, was unloaded in the port of Valencia on April 4th, while Argentinian Patagonia, XXII and Noticia IV are on a cargo ship en route to Spain.

The British flagged Ngoni is now the second Soto40 to arrive in Europe after being unloaded in the sunshine in the port of Valencia on Monday 4th April ready for her shore crew to take delivery. Boat Captain Andy Clark was due to start setting up the boat as of Wednesday this week in preparation for the arrival of the sailing team which will see the boat for the first time on Tuesday April 12th, making a few shakedown and tuning sails before a hard three days of training alongside Iberdrola.

The British boat, owned by businessman Tony Buckingham, a former Farr 40 owner-driver, will be based from the yard of Sweden’s Victory America’s Cup team, effectively living adjacent to the Iberdrola El Desafio unit. Presently Noticia IV, the third Soto 40 to reach the European continent is en route. The Soto40 Class will make its debut this season in Mediterranean waters on the Audi MedCup Circuit. Argentinian boats Patagonia and XXII, shipped from Argentina on April 1st, are expected to arrive in Spain 22 days later. With less than seven weeks away from the start of the Audi MedCup Circuit´s first regatta, the first team’s are already building up their experience.
