A+T Instruments Ltd, a leading manufacturer of high-performance marine instrumentation, proudly announces the METS launch of the QBD7, a 7-inch full-colour, high-brightness display engineered for the demanding conditions of superyachts and race boats.

The QBD7 combines exceptional visibility, complete configurability, and robust construction, setting a new benchmark for marine display technology. Designed to integrate seamlessly with leading navigation systems, the QBD7 provides a powerful, intuitive interface for professional and performance sailing environments.

Key Features:

  • Brilliant 7" Full-Colour Display — with 1,500-nit backlight and wide viewing angle for maximum clarity in all lighting conditions. Non-reflective glass.

  • Configurable Pages and Panels — up to six display pages with graphing, analogue, or bar formats, all with conditional colour options (e.g. automatic red alert on overload).

  • Flexible Mounting and Orientation — available in portrait or landscape mode with front mounting (with or without buttons).

  • Fully Waterproof and Rugged — built to A+T's renowned standards for durability, full immersion and performance in extreme marine environments. Each unit is individually tested 1m under water and in an oven at 70 degreesC for 24 hours.

  • Seamless Connectivity — supports CANbus (N2K compatible) for B&G Hercules, H5000, WTP, Garmin, and Sailmon systems, plus Ethernet for full integration with A+T ATP Processors.

  • High Temperature Operation — reliable operation up to 70°C+, ensuring consistent performance in Caribbean and Mediterranean conditions.

The QBD7 continues A+T's tradition of combining precision engineering, reliability, and 24/7 direct technical support, backed by a 3-year warranty.

"The QBD7 is designed for clarity, flexibility, and toughness — everything professional sailors demand," said Hugh Agnew, Director at A+T Instruments. "It's the perfect display for performance-driven yachts that need uncompromising visibility and data flexibility."

David Minors, a leading electronics specialist in New Zealand emailed to say "I reckon you guys are on to a winner with this new display it compliments your range very nicely. I now plan to try persuade another yacht here to take 2 or 3 of these. I have recently replaced their H5000 CPU with new A+T ATP1".
