Karpaz Bay Marina to welcome luxury hotel and beach club

by Marketing Matters UK on 11 Jan 2011
Karpaz Gate Marina Hotel and Beach Club SW
Owners of the soon-to-be-completed Karpaz Gate Marina in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), part of the Karpaz Bay Resort, have announced plans for a new luxury hotel and beach club on the site.

The proposed plan would see a high-class beach hotel constructed above the beach club, just east of the marina, which would open in 2012. This would follow the completion and May 2011 launch of the marina and the buildings which encompass the marina village, restaurants, chandlery, shops and boutiques.

Further details of the Karpaz Hotel and Beach Club will be announced when the marina launches in May.

Itay Singer, Director of the marina management company Sea-Alliance Group, said: 'We are very excited about the news of the planned hotel and beach club since these additional facilities will provide further first-class attractions for those visiting Karpaz Gate Marina.

'The quality of the accommodation and the beach club leisure facilities will be aligned with those of the five-star marina, meaning that those visiting the resort will be able to enjoy an exemplary experience in a fantastic location.'

Karpaz Gate Marina will be the first-ever luxury yacht marina in northern Cyprus. It is being developed to the standards of a first class tourist destination, and will allow guests to enjoy the undiscovered local KarpazPeninsula area, known as the ‘ParadiseCoast’, which is famous for its unspoilt landscapes and coastlines, desirable climate and abundance of wildlife including donkeys and turtles.

The marina development has been welcomed by the Department of Tourism of the TRNC since it is creating jobs and industry in the largely undeveloped region, and is recognised as a prized addition to the area’s tourist facilities.
Karpaz Gate Marina will also offer the largest and best possible maintenance facilities in the eastern Mediterranean - larger than most on the Turkish coast – including an expansive 18,000sqm dry dock and 300 tonne travel lift.
