Save the date for Queensland's largest outdoor and leisure show, the Brisbane Tinnie and Tackle Show and National 4x4 Show and Outdoors Expo, 8-10 April 2011.

Fishing, four wheel drives, campervans, trailers, big and small boats, bait, tents and sleeping bags . . . what more could a family want?

To make this an even more incredible day out internationally renowned fishing fanatic and adrenalin junkie Matt Watson from the Ultimate Fishing Show will also be giving his top fishing tips and sharing his extreme adventures .
Already event organisers are promising this year’s show will be the biggest yet with the return of the traditional favourite stands along with some brand new features.

'Each year the show continues to grow and 2011 will be no different. We continue to lock in more and more exhibitors who will display all the latest products the Queensland recreational marine industry has to offer,' said Jason Plant from Marine Queensland.

Show highlights include; The Waeco Outback Stage , The Action Arena (with a full 4wd test track) along with the Loveday 4x4 Extreme Show and the Mini Bike Mayhem Stage.

Queensland boaties can look forward to getting the first look at new release boats from Quintrex and Bundaberg boat builder Sea Jay.

Other highlights will include the popular Bream Invitational Fishing Tournament including live weighs-in every afternoon of the show, plus expert presentations from top speakers including; Bill Corten, Dave Downie, Jason Ehrlich and Brett Thomson on the Fishing Expo Stage.

This year will also see the return of the hugely popular ‘Sports Fishing Simulator’ where visitors can hook themselves a virtual fish. For the kids, the Marine Zone is back – the ‘2 Bent Rods’ team will be teaching kids how to fish like the pro’s, as well as the basics of safe and responsible shore based fishing practices.

'The one thing about Queensland residents is that they all love getting out onto the bay to enjoy some quality time fishing and this show really does cater for the Queensland lifestyle,' said Jason.

'Not only will the Brisbane Tinnie and Tackle Show feature the latest products but there is also a comprehensive education program which provides individuals with tips to help them land the next big catch.'

With more on-site parking facilities, and more exhibition space than ever before the 2011 Brisbane Tinnie and Tackle Show and National 4x4 Show is must for everyone who loves getting outdoors.
