In a magnificent closing ceremony that included dinner, music, dancing, singing, lots of fun, a nautical atmosphere, and an awards presentation, the 29th Rhodes Cup concluded on Friday evening in the Rhodes marina.

This international regatta is organized annually by the Rhodes Offshore Sailing Athletic Association (ASIATHR), and this year in collaboration with the South Aegean Region and co-organizers, the Rhodes City Council, DERMAE, and the Dodecanese Chamber of Commerce.

More than 300 sailors from different countries participated, with 40 boats, in the Kos-Nisyros-Tilos-Rhodes route. The top three finishers in each of the four categories are as follows:

Presented by the President of Asiath Rhodes

The event was presented by the President of ASIATH Rhodes, Stamatis Stavras, while the results were announced by the Chairman of the Race Committee, Yiannis Kleidonas. Also present were the Regional and Municipal Sports Commissioners, Vasilis Delaportas and Yiannis Plygos, respectively. On behalf of the Central Port Authority, Port Captain Maria Kipoglou and Deputy Port Captain George Patakos, Spyros Tsirakakis of the Hellenic Coast Guard, the Director of the Rhodes Marina, Michalis Roditis, as well as representatives of the sponsors who supported the 2026 Rhodes Cup, attended the ceremony. Before the awards presentation, guests and sailors enjoyed music by Leida on the electronic violin and Mary, who sang, creating a delightful atmosphere.

The event marked the end of this unique annual sailing route in the Aegean Sea, and also the renewal of the event for 2027!

The Rhodes Cup regatta lived up to its promise, offering unforgettable moments combined with the natural beauty of the islands and a passion for the sea and sailing.

The co-organizers of the 2026 Rodos Cup are: the South Aegean Region, the Municipality of Rhodes, the DERMAA (Department of Marine and Coastal Activities of the Aegean Region), and the Dodecanese Chamber of Commerce.
