The international 505 Euro Cup series continues this month with one of its most anticipated events — the upcoming regatta at Lake Garda, widely regarded as one of the world's great sailing venues and a true mecca for competitive dinghy racing.

With its reliable thermal breezes, spectacular mountain backdrop and legendary race conditions, Lake Garda provides the perfect stage for the high-performance International 505 class. The combination promises an exciting week of fast, tactical and spectacular racing.

More than 40 boats are expected to compete in what will be one of the strongest and most competitive fleets of the European season. As one of the four events in the Euro Cup series, the regatta is attracting top international teams from across Europe and beyond.

The Garda event also serves as an important lead-up regatta and training opportunity ahead of the upcoming 505 World Championship to be held at Hayling Island from 2-10 July.

Stand by for daily race reports, results and photos as the fleet takes on one of sailing's most iconic venues.
