A $150,000 grant from Phillips Charitable Foundation, Inc. marks the largest program grant in Chesapeake Region Accessible Boating's history.

This extraordinary gift will support CRAB's Group sail program that provides therapeutic sailing programs to local, regional, and national nonprofits that serve people with disabilities at no cost to them. This incredible support will aid CRAB in reaching its goal of serving over 2,000 guests in 2026, the organization's 35th Anniversary year, while also expanding accessible boating and sailing on Chesapeake Bay.

CRAB Vice President of Development, Rebecca Gonser, remarked, "CRAB deeply appreciates partners like Phillips Charitable Foundation, Inc., whose understanding of our mission enables us to strategically expand our impact and better serve the rapidly growing community of people with disabilities, wounded warriors, and children from underserved communities."

Phillips Charitable Foundation has been a consistent supporter of CRAB's Adaptive Boating Center and its therapeutic programs. Its generosity has enabled a tremendous expansion of CRAB boating and wellness programs. Phillips Charitable Foundation's "mission is to support organizations that provide necessary change in the lives of vulnerable populations by solving problems and removing obstacles."
