Brisbane Race Week presented by Porsche Centre Brisbane has wrapped up at the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron on Moreton Bay following five days of varied racing formats, strong community support, and a regatta that continued to grow both on and off the water.
The final day pursuit race brought the 2026 edition to a close, completing a week that saw close to 50 boats racing across yacht and Off the Beach divisions, supported by a packed onshore program and a growing festival atmosphere around the event.
In the Monohull Performance division, Tool Time (Stephen O'Brien) secured the overall PHS win after a remarkably consistent regatta aboard the Spider 22, finishing ahead of KERB (John Whitbread) on the Ker 40 and Broadsword (David Looke) on the Archambault A40.
Tool Time skipper Stephen O'Brien thanked organisers, volunteers and crew following the overall Monohull Performance victory.
"It's been a fantastic week and we've had a great time," he said.
"A huge thank you to Anton [Prange], Paul [Bolton] and all the volunteers who made it happen, and special thanks to Hayden Barney for getting us around the course so 'faultlessly' today."
The Monohull Cruising division saw Blackadder (Alexander Grant) claim overall honours, finishing ahead of Danseur (Michael Easton) and French Kiss (Michael Hinde) after a competitive week of racing across changing conditions and formats.
Out on their own throughout the regatta, Dog House (Bruce Hume) completed the series as the sole Multihull entry.
Earlier in the week, the Off the Beach divisions completed their regattas, with the VX One and Finn fleets delivering some of the closest racing of Brisbane Race Week presented by Porsche Centre Brisbane.
In the VX One class, Mack One (Ben Franklin) secured the overall win after a remarkably consistent series, finishing ahead of Lateshift (Peter Conde) and Unvexed (Garth Halton).
The Finn fleet remained tightly contested throughout the regatta, with Annie (Larry Kleist) and Jazel (Kane Sinclair) finishing tied on five points, separated only on countback, while Lonya (Tristan Perez) completed the podium just one point behind.
The success of Brisbane Race Week presented by Porsche Centre Brisbane was also underpinned by the work of Race Officer Paul Bolton and the wider volunteer team, who delivered racing across a variety of formats and conditions throughout the week.
From on-water race management through to onshore support, volunteers played a key role in shaping the atmosphere and operation of the regatta.
Event Director Anton Prange said the vision for Brisbane Race Week has always been to create something different and accessible for sailors.
"What we wanted to do with this regatta was create something special, not the usual format, something different every day so every kind of boat gets a moment to shine," he said.
"It's a five-day event that's low cost to get into. You don't have to travel hundreds of miles, you can have a beer with your mates in the afternoon and still sleep in your own bed at night."
Prange said the growth of the regatta had been driven by the boating community itself.
"We started with 10 boats and no sponsors, and now the whole boating community has got behind it," he said.
"Whether it's sailors, sponsors, the club or volunteers, it's one big family and that's what makes it special. It's a regatta built by sailors, for sailors."
Off the water, the event continued to expand beyond the racecourse, with A Night in Rio, Legends on the Lawn, and Texan Night at Wynnum Manly Yacht Club helping shape the social side of the week and reinforcing the regatta's community-focused atmosphere.
