The Half Ton Class Europe and the Half Ton Class Norway are delighted and proud to announce that the Seldén Group from Sweden has accepted to be the main partner of the 2026 Half Ton Classics Cup, organised in Hankø, Norway on 1-7 August 2026.

The Seldén Group is the world's leading manufacturer of mast and rigging systems in carbon and aluminium for dinghies, keelboats and yachts. Their well known brands are Seldén and Furlex. The worldwide success of Furlex has enabled the Seldén Group to build a network of over 750 authorised dealers covering the world's marine markets.

More than 7 months prior to the start of the first regatta 36 half tonners have already registered for the Seldén Half Ton Classics Cup. The event will be the main sailing event of 2026 in Norway. More entries from mainly European teams are expected.

With teams from Norway, Sweden, Ireland, France, Belgium and the United States, the event reflects the international character of the half tonner Class. The Half Ton Class Europe started organising the Classics Cup in 2003, 10 years after the last Half Ton Cup was sailed.

The complete registration list can be seen at entry2026.htcnorway.no
