Northampton-based P&B is looking for a motivated individual to join its sail making team, with comprehensive training provided.
Where Championship Craft Meets Technical Training
Working within P&B's sail loft, you'll learn precision craft techniques whilst contributing to the construction of performance sails trusted by champions. This position offers the opportunity to master a specialist trade through hands-on experience with professionals who've built championship-winning sails for over 50 years.
What P&B Needs
Previous sail making or sewing experience isn't required. The company wants someone with genuine enthusiasm for developing specialist technical skills, strong hand-eye coordination for precision work, and the fitness needed for standing work and handling bulky materials.
You'll need a meticulous approach to quality control, the ability to work effectively within a specialist team, and professional dedication and consistency. Most importantly, an understanding that each sail supports a sailor's competitive performance.
