Day 2 delivered mixed conditions in Vilamoura, allowing the 49er fleet to complete three races, while the ILCA 7 and ILCA 6 fleets each managed one. The 49erFX fleet could not complete any races.

In the 49er class three races were completed, with Germany's Moritz Dorau / Riko Rockenbauch leading after a solid day on the water. Hungary's Jorge Lima / Arthur de Jonghe follow in second, with Keanu Prettner / Jakob Flachberger (AUT) in third.

The 49erFX fleet stayed ashore as conditions never stabilised enough for racing. The top three remain unchanged:

A single race was possible for the ILCA 7 fleet, won by Elliot Hanson (GBR). Michael Beckett (GBR) follows in second, with Chapman Petersen (USA) in third.

In the ILCA 6 Women, Ecem Güzel (TUR) took the win, followed by Blanca Ferrando Babe (ESP) and Mirja Dohle (GER).

In the ILCA 6 Men, Spain swept the podium:Juan Bennassar Oliver, Nikko Palou Espinar, and Carlos Zendrera Bosch finished first to third.

Looking Ahead

Tomorrow's schedule begins with ILCA 7, followed by ILCA 6, 49erFX and 49er, with conditions expected to improve.
