15th Catamarans Cup: Greece's most exciting sailing celebration returns

by Istion Yachting 22 Oct 04:45 PDT 25 October - 1 November 2025

The Catamarans Cup International Regatta is back for its 15th anniversary edition, ready to fill the Aegean with color, energy, and unforgettable moments.

Organized by Istion Yachting, the milestone edition of Greece's most iconic sailing event will set sail from Alimos Marina, Athens, on Saturday, October 25, 2025, marking the start of a weeklong sailing adventure across the Saronic and Argolic Gulf. The Catamarans Cup will unite more than 280 sailors from more than 15 countries in an event that blends competitive sailing with pure fun, community spirit, and authentic Greek experiences.

A week of racing, celebration and connection

The 2025 edition will follow the popular route through the Saronic and Argolic Gulf, visiting: Athens | Poros | Porto Heli | Paralio Astros | Nafplio

Each stop offers participants a taste of Greece beyond the high season - from local hospitality and cuisine to picturesque harbors and coastal charm.

Powered by passion and partnerships

The Catamarans Cup proudly continues its collaboration with Lagoon Catamarans and Excess Catamarans, both long-standing grand sponsors of the event. The regatta also enjoys the support of the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) and the municipalities of Poros, Ermionida, N. Kynouria, and Nafplion, further strengthening its mission to showcase Greece as a world-class sailing destination year-round.

Celebrating 15 years on the water

Over the years, the Catamarans Cup has grown into an international community - a unique gathering where professional sailors, families, and first-time adventurers share one common love: the sea.
