54 metres of pure beauty, a masterpiece of elegance and majesty that takes the style of the world's most famous shipyard into a new dimension: the first Riva 54METRI, the largest Riva ever built, has been launched at the Superyachts Division in Ancona.

"Now every yachting enthusiast and Riva fan has a new boat to dream about. A paragon of beauty and elegance, Riva 54METRI showcases the unstoppable momentum of the world's most famous shipyard in its pursuit of innovation and its celebration of the art of cruising. The largest Riva ever built right now is the new wonder of the sea, a masterpiece of style by Officina Italiana Design that will turn heads in every marina and on every stretch of water on the planet. I'd like to congratulate everyone who worked on this extraordinary yacht that so magnificently celebrates the visionary genius of Carlo Riva and his megayacht project of the 1960s and 1970s, writing another spectacular page in the history of Riva and yachting as a whole," said Ferretti Group CEO Alberto Galassi.

With a length overall of 54 metres and a maximum beam of 8.60 metres, the all-aluminium Riva 54METRI has a gross tonnage under 500 GT and is perfectly aligned with the timeless style that has always defined the brand identity and makes every Riva unique. Majestic and elegant, Riva 54METRI is the result of a joint effort by Officina Italiana Design, the firm founded by Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta and exclusive designer of the entire Riva range for 30 years, the Strategic Product Committee led by Piero Ferrari, and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department.

A key role was played by Alain Maaraoui, founder and president of Sea Pros Yachts, Riva's exclusive dealer in Kuwait, who worked with the owner during contract negotiations and throughout the construction process, right through to delivery.

Riva 54METRI's sleek, sporty lines capture hearts right from the very first glance: a sophisticated combination of Moon Grey, London Grey and Bright Black, with detailing in polished steel, points up the yacht's classic, sculptural silhouette and unmistakable aquamarine waterline.

The largest Riva ever built spans four decks - with the lower, main and upper decks connected by a lift located amidships - and can accommodate up to 10 passengers in four guest cabins and a majestic master suite at the bow on the main deck. The crew area has five double cabins and a captain's cabin next to the wheelhouse, for a crew of 11.

The spectacular outdoor areas are the stand-out feature of Riva 54METRI, designed to establish a permanent connection with the water for owner and guests, as well as to offer opportunities for fun and relaxation in complete privacy. At the stern, a large transformer platform with an extra-wide walkway provides access to the beach area, where a five-metre-long pool takes centre stage, flanked on either side by sunloungers. Five steps higher, the welcome area on the main deck is a refined space - furnished with a large sofa, armchairs and an outdoor bar - that leads to the main lounge. Both hull sides in the beach club and main deck cockpit areas fold out to form magnificent terraces on the water. At the bow, the innovation that pervades Riva 54METRI takes the form of two large sun sofas that extend the lounge area and hide part of the technical space beneath from view, designed with a hinge mechanism to make it easier to launch and haul up the tender, jet ski and water toys.

The interiors feature fine marble including Sahara Noir and Bianco Rhino, alternating with natural teak panelling and leather finishes to create elegant contrasts of colour and texture throughout the boat.

There was a sharp focus on guest privacy, with special crew routes to ensure discreet and efficient service on all decks. Acoustic comfort was another design priority, with solutions that ensure maximum insulation and reduce vibration and noise to a minimum, including four electric stabilizer fins and two electric rudders, designed to ensure the maximum possible comfort and silence when under way.

The innovative approach to the entire project is also reflected in Riva 54METRI's helm station, which is equipped with two X-band radar systems, 5G connectivity plus a Starlink antenna, a full ECDIS system, three 27-inch touchscreens and a 44-inch stretch monitor.
