Henri-Lloyd support this weekend's Færderseilasen Race

by Henri-Lloyd 12 Jun 08:30 PDT 13-14 June 2025

Henri-Lloyd's overwhelming support for Færderseilasen keeps sailors, winners, volunteers and even the dancers happy!

Henri-Lloyd is the title sponsor for the 2025 Færderseilasen race and the company has really pushed the boat out with its support for this year's event.

With over 450 boats and some 3,000 sailors, and many hundreds of volunteers working behind the scenes, it's important that as many people as possible benefit from a company's support for key events such as the Færderseilasen race.

This year all the volunteers and employees at KNS are being appreciated with Henri-Lloyd's high-tech Dri-Fast polos branded with the 2025 Færderseilasen race logo on the back.

The event attracts all kinds of people, from professional sailors, cruising sailors, amateur sailors, families, groups of friends, and celebrities. Famous Norwegian film star Tobias Santelmann and TV/radio host Tore Sagen can be spotted racing together on Landmark 43 "Game".

With the forecast showing beautiful, sunny summer weather in Oslo with 23 degrees and light winds, there's bound to be stiff competition for the podium across the four courses.

For the winners of each course, all the crew will be presented with a Henri-Lloyd Dri-Fast polo, decorated with a special race logo for each course. The overall silver trophies are also exclusively engraved for this year's race. The main silver prizes are also engraved to commemorate the winner's success in this prestigious race.

"The Færder Race is an adventure," says Lars Erik Heibek, who heads up Henri-Lloyd in Scandinavia. "Here, you get to compete while enjoying a social atmosphere, and on top of that, you experience the beauty of nature at sea. Whether you take the competition seriously or not, this is something that appeals to everyone. We're seeing a significant increase in participants this year, but the goal is to return to the glory days when over 1,200 boats took part."

2025 sees the city of Moss, in the county of Østfold (on the east side of Oslofjorden) as the epicentre for the regatta. Onshore there are numerous events planned for when the sailors come ashore, with a Sailors Lounge, awards ceremony, dinners, party and a concert.

And showing their support extends far and wide, even the dancers at this weekend's celebrations are provided with Henri-Lloyd hoodies to keep them warm and highly visible during the evening entertainment!
