There's a truly international flavour to the Albacore stand at this weekends RYA Dinghy Show! Apart from the venue being the Farnborough International Exhibition Centre this year also sees the biannual Albacore Internationals hosted by Hampton YC, Virginia, USA in October.

The UK containers are filling up with only a few places left. One of the boats making the trip will be on display on the show stand - take a look at the immaculately presented and appropriately named "Uffa Fox Sake" on Stand A9. Owner Matt Thompson is also chair of the International Albacore Association and is organising the UK containers. He'll be around on the stand during the weekend!

The stand will also have a couple of International visitors in the form of Barney Harris (Mr Albacore USA) and his friend Ralph Glass who are flying over just for the show as "It's unique and the only dinghy show in the world!"

And if that's not all, current UK National Albacore Champion (and renowned International 505 sailor) Nathan Batchelor will be at the show, mainly on the Ovington stand where you can find out more about a new Albacore whilst multiple International and National Albacore Champion Michael McNamara will be again delivering his popular sail tuning talk, "In Tune, the hull, the rig, the sailor" on both Saturday and Sunday at 14.00 in the RYA Knowledge Zone.

Finally, for those wishing to join the Albacore fleet, there's a first year half price membership offer being launched for new class association members! The class demo boat is also available for charter.

So plenty of reasons to pop along to stand A9 and find more about the truly International Albacore and chat with those who sail her!
