The latest Outremer model was unveiled last week during an exclusive webinar attended by over 300 people, confirming the strong enthusiasm generated at the Cannes and Annapolis boat shows when the project was first mentioned.

Inspired by the iconic Outremer 45, the new Outremer 48 fully asserts its positioning with a true length of 48 feet, marking a new milestone in the evolution of the range.

Designed, drawn, and built based on feedback from owners and thousands of miles sailed across all the world's oceans in all conditions, the Outremer 48 is the result of extensive experience.

While performance and safety have always been at the core of Outremer catamaran design, ease of handling and quality of life on board are the two essential components that complete Outremer's design brief. Surrounded by the best naval architects (VPLP) and renowned names in French design (Patrick Le Quément, Darnet Design), Outremer has created a high-performance yet comfortable boat, ensuring that enjoyment on board is ever-present.

The virtuoso, ready for adventure

Sailors no longer have to choose between comfort and performance—the Outremer 48 brings together the best of both worlds. At under 15 meters in overall length, it offers unprecedented space, an uninterrupted 360 degrees view, and impressive storage capacity, all while maintaining the performance and safety standards that have built Outremer's legendary reputation.

Sailing has never been so exhilarating—whether with a small crew or family, on a leisurely cruise or catching thrilling surfs, the Outremer 48 delivers unmatched control and enjoyment.

Benefiting from the latest advancements in engineering and naval architecture, it is capable of sailing at wind speed in light airs while remaining just as safe in heavy weather !

A perfectly clear view

The 360 degrees visibility from both the saloon and cockpit provides an exceptional view of the water and surroundings, greatly enhancing onboard comfort.

On the Outremer 48, whether seated or standing, inside or outside, the view remains unobstructed—a crucial factor for a stress-free cruising experience! No need to climb onto the deck to scan the horizon; even night watches are now just as comfortable from the chart table.

Customizable and modular living spaces
10 layout versions!

The forward port cabin space is designed to adapt to various needs with multiple configuration options.

To best meet the expectations of owners, Outremer has created a versatile space called My Free Space. Located in the forward port cabin, this area can be customized in numerous ways:

  • A single, double, or triple cabin
  • A convertible office with bunk beds
  • A convertible workshop
  • A dressing room or children's cabin

The Outremer 48 evolves with its users, adapting to the key moments of a long sailing journey.

Outstanding accessibility

The low boom provides easy access to the mainsail, lowers the sail plan's center of effort, and optimizes both performance and comfort at sea.

Accessing the coachroof is effortless, with only two steps near the mast, allowing even the youngest crew members to take part in maneuvers under the watchful eye of the skipper. When it's time to reef or stow the sail, there's no need for acrobatics—everything is done safely and with ease.
