Located closer to Palma's main shipyards and marinas, Hill Robinson Spain's new contemporary office is in prime position to offer operational management, project management, crew recruitment and wider Crew Services.

Hill Robinson marked the official opening of its new office in Palma de Mallorca with an end-of-season event for clients and industry partners. Having had a presence on the island since 2017, the company's move from its previous location caters for its expanding team and the desire to be easily accessible for owners, captains, and crew.

Located on the Avinguda Gabriel Roca - also known as the Paseo Maritimo - the new office is on the doorstep of Mallorca's main shipyards and marinas. From this base, the team of yacht managers, project managers, accountants, recruitment consultant, and brokers are on the frontline to provide clients with hands-on support daily.

A well-established superyacht hub, Palma is popular for its plentiful Balearic cruising grounds, vibrant city, and quality service and refit infrastructure. The close-knit yachting community in Mallorca means service providers are dependent on their reputations to succeed. Hill Robinson Spain is an integral part of the local yachting community and the team's experience and expertise is a reliable and trusted resource for owners, captains, and crew

As well as acting as an operational support hub for Hill Robinson's local fleet, Hill Robinson Spain is the base for a team of project managers who have overseen over 10 maintenance and refit projects on board yachts over 30 metres in the past year alone. Furthermore, the recruitment team place hundreds of crew every year - benefitting from Hill Robinson's extensive and trusted pool of vetted candidates - and ensures the highest standards are met under Maritime Labour Convention (MLC) requirements.

As Chief Operating Officer, Paul Cook, explains, "From yacht management, encompassing ISM and ISPS compliance, safety, and security advice, audits and accounting, to technical support, maintenance and complex refit project management as well as our recently launched crew services offering plus charter and sales brokerage, our friendly, experienced and diverse team in Palma can help clients with every aspect of their yachting journey."

The new facilities include a spacious conference room from which regular crew seminars and workshops are held on various industry topics. These events are free to attend for both crew within the Hill Robinson fleet and prospective crew, and form part of the company's new Crew Services offering - a fully integrated range of services incorporating recruitment, employment, wellbeing, and training.

Owners, captains, and crew are encouraged to get in touch with the Hill Robinson Spain team to discuss any of their yachting needs. Contact Hill Robinson Spain here.
