The Boat Works and Marine Trade Supplies Superstore are thrilled to announce yet another major expansion once again for the Trade Supplies Superstore. It's about to become a Megastore.

Expanding to enhance the services and offer even more marine products to all Boaties, Captains and Marine Trade customers. The chandlery, trade supplies and paint megastore is now creating a dedicated new marine and protective coating facility onsite.

At the helm is Kasey Mcallan, a NACE-certified coatings inspector and one of Queensland's top paint experts. With a solid background working with leading manufacturers, Kasey is bringing his expertise to our new coating's facility. Over the years Kasey has earned a reputation for supplying coatings for the entire marine precinct.

As the superyacht industry grows in Australia, and particularly within the Gold Coast marine hub, The Boat Works and Trade Supplies Superstore are committed to providing the best facilities and products to meet that demand.

As Kasey explains, "Our new space will feature cutting-edge tint machines for precise colour matching, top-notch paint shakers, and high-end spray gun equipment. We'll stock premium brands like AkzoNobel Awlgrip, Norglass, Jotun, Altex, PPG and many more. This expansion, set to open in January 2025, reinforces our position as a leader in marine supplies."

The marine chandlery will also expand, creating a comprehensive resource for all marine enthusiasts and professionals. "This is our fifth expansion since we started in 2012, and we couldn't be more excited about the journey ahead," says owner John Lance, Managing Director, Marine Trade Supplies and Chandlery.

"We are thrilled to present new offerings that will bring unparalleled quality and choice to all of our customers. We are ready to elevate your marine experience. We're also hiring, so if you want to join our growing team, reach out." says owner John Lance, Managing Director, Marine Trade Supplies and Chandlery.

The Boat Works owner, Tony Longhurst, praises John and his team on this exciting new enhancement to their business, saying "The addition of a dedicated marine and protective coating facility at the Marine Trade Supplies and Chandlery is a vital service for our world-class facility".

"As marine traffic to The Boat Works increases, we naturally see a surge in refit projects and maintenance work. Having these resources and services available on-site is a tremendous convenience for Boat owners and Captains.

"The Boat Works, is dedicated to reinvest and continue to enhance the services within the ever-evolving major marine facility that is arguably the largest, cleanest and greenest shipyard in South-East Queensland, attracting vessels from across Australia and globally."
