The crew on 'Big Nauti' have had a successful weekend night jigging for bluefin tuna. After leaving Whakatane on Friday evening it was not long before Nathan secured a nice 50kg (110lbs) bluefin tuna on the first drop of the jig.

Next it was cams turn, hooking a 80kg (176lbs) fish at 11pm that had him on a 2.5hr fight. Andrew got his turn on Saturday night getting a nice 30kg (66lbs) fish on the first drop of the night. 'Big Nauti' then headed north and trolled though the night making the 10onm journey to their home marina. Great work guys!
