by Penguin Refrigeration 23 Jul 2024 05:56 PDT

Penguin Refrigeration, Europe's leading supplier of specialist marine and recreational vehicle refrigeration and air conditioning solutions, announces its latest product innovation by Vitrifrigo - the C85 BD Nano.

As the exclusive UK supplier of the world-leading luxury Italian refrigeration brand, Vitrifrigo, Penguin Refrigeration unveils the updated C85 BD Nano for the British marine and motorhome industries, now featuring Secop's 'NextGen' Nano Compressor - incorporating the most advanced compressor technology in the industry.

Already a favourite for panel van conversions, larger campervans and compact galleys due to its shallow depth at 470mm, designed to fit flush under a standard 500mm counter top, Vitrifrigo's updated C85 85-litre 12/24V under-counter fridge has taken a huge leap forward in efficiency making it the perfect choice for solar power integration for self-sufficient operation.

Now featuring Vitrifrigo's 'Chromelock' catch with a positive lock and vent position (for black and grey colourway options) and a 'Steelock' catch for stainless steel models. Inside, LED lighting comes as standard for enhanced visibility, a 12.8-litre ice box (with an optional larder fridge without an ice box), and two grill shelves with fiddle upstands and salad bins, providing ample storage and convenience.

Equipped with built-in low voltage cut out and high voltage protection, the C85 ensures reliable performance and the highest efficiency in its class, ideal for off-grid motorhome staycations and offshore boating ventures. For a personalised look, the black and grey doors feature a 3mm decor panel that can be changed or wrapped to match the vehicle or boat's interior, while the stainless-steel version includes a fitting frame as standard. The C85 can also be integrated behind galley cupboard doors using a sliding hinge kit, available at no additional cost.

Chris Feibusch, Penguin Refrigeration Director, comments, "We are excited to introduce the latest version of Vitrifrigo's already popular C85 now with nano compressor- a gamechanger for refrigeration in the industry. By integrating Secop's 'NextGen' Nano Compressor, we've developed a cooling product that exceeds the needs of modern adventurers looking for an efficient, reliable and sustainable solution to keep groceries fresh and drinks cool, off-grid or out at sea."

As the world's most efficient, purpose-made mobile compressor, Secop's 'Next Gen' Nano Compressor delivers a 44% improvement in efficiency compared to current market options. Its compact design is 40% smaller and 67% lighter than competitors, saves valuable space and weight, crucial for mobile applications. Tailor-made for mobile cooling, the industry-first technology significantly extends operation time as well as offering full protection against electromagnetic interference, for improved acoustic comfort, reduced noise and vibration.

The exclusive UK supplier of Vitrifrigo, Frigoboat and Climma, Penguin Refrigeration is the industry's leading bespoke, technical refrigeration brand for luxury yachts, superyachts, motorhomes and campervans.
