New TACO Marine® Open Water Outrigger Poles win Miami Innovation Award

The new TACO Marine® Open Water Internal & Collapsible Carbon Fiber Outrigger Poles have been awarded a 2024 Miami Innovation Award in the Fishing Equipment, Gear & Tackle Category. The award was presented at the Discover Boating™ Miami International Boat Show® Industry Breakfast in the Miami Beach Convention Center.
The award-winning poles can be seen at the TACO booth, MB7027, in the Convention Center.
Unlike other internally rigged poles on the market that are fixed or challenging to set up and take down, these poles can be collapsed quickly and easily for transportation and storage.
The three-piece design features a patent pending latching mechanism that provides a Twist & Lock connection between pole segments - enabling easy and secure setup when heading offshore. Another innovative feature, the ability to perfect index the halyard line using the adjustable ratchet base with a threaded locking collar - a unique feature only available from TACO Marine. This design element eliminates chafing and ensures the smooth ascent and descent of outrigger lines.
