Damen Yachting is pleased to announce the delivery of the Amels 60 SATEMI. This 60-metre superyacht is the fourth yacht to be delivered from the Dutch builder's next generation Amels Limited Editions design.

SATEMI will remain quayside at the Damen Yachting shipyard in the Netherlands for a few more weeks before departing on her maiden voyage straight to the Caribbean.

The Amels 60 SATEMI features a timeless exterior design by Espen diameterino. Inspired by the customisations made to the second hull from the Amels 60 design, SATEMI's Owners opted for elongated window styling. The custom interiors have been created by Studio Indigo who were responsible for the original Amels 60 concept interior design. SATEMI's unique and captivating interiors are the result of a collaboration between the Owners and the London-based design studio.

Tassos Papantoniou from Torrance Yachts has represented the Owners throughout both the sale and build. He explains how their hands-on approach has made a significant impact to the stunning end result.

"The Owners have been involved with the build for the past 24 months and have been able to set the interior exactly as they want it. They have spared no expense ensuring that their yacht is specified to the very highest standards - everything from the tenders to the dinnerware, it all results in a spectacular outcome."

In keeping with the Amels 60's design focus on delivering exceptional onboard experiences, SATEMI features the Amels Limited Editions signature spacious Sun Deck. The feeling of space continues both inside and out with the large Swim Platform and Owner's Suite with folding balcony, his and her bathrooms, as well as a dressing room. Unusually for a superyacht of this size, this Amels 60 also features a foredeck with space to allow for a tender up to 9-metres. With six Guest Cabins in total, SATEMI can accommodate up to 12 guests served by 13 crew, including the Captain, making her ideal for both private and charter use.

The Amels 60 SATEMI also features a range of advanced equipment and technology, including an IMO Tier III-compliant hybrid power and propulsion system. Captain Mattia Dzaja shares his initial impressions.

"I have reviewed the system specification, and I am impressed. The benefits of this system and the reduced environmental impact are obvious, but what I love most is the additional safety it will provide us when we are cruising. Everyone that is part of the Amels 'family' is super passionate. They believe in what they are doing and are led by Rose Damen, someone whose enthusiasm for the brand is evident and is an inspiration to the entire industry. At Damen Yachting, we are all in this together, all part of one big family."

We are delighted to have started 2024 with SATEMI being handed over to her proud new Owners and crew. Damen Yachting's Project Manager Danker Rijk, who has managed SATEMI throughout her build adds, "It's been great to see how all parties involved have pulled together and have put in so much effort during this busy project. The result of their work speaks for itself; the yacht looks stunning. We hope that the Owners will enjoy stepping on board for the first time this year."

With three more in build and the final delivery of 2023 having departed just a couple of weeks ago, the Amels 60 is quickly becoming one of the yard's most sought-after designs thanks to the Limited Editions proposition of a proven technical platform and fast delivery whilst still allowing for customisation.
