The 2024 Australian 5o5 Championship starts soon on the beautiful Jervis Bay, a few hours south of Sydney. Registration and invitation races on Sunday 21st January followed by racing from Monday 22nd through to Friday 27th January 2024.
The Australian Championship is the first major event of the global 5o5 fixtures for 2024. Significant in that the main 5o5 world is still battling through winter so watching the Aussies down under with envy is a common pastime for northern hemisphere nations itching to get back to their sailing season as well.
Australia is of particular interest to the global 5o5 community this year since the 2025 World Championship will be held in just under 12 months time in Adelaide.
