The Commodore of ORA, Ari Kansakoski is currently riding the waves of the Southern Atlantic in a solo circumnavigation challenge, but commented by satellite: "It gives me immense pleasure to extend a heartfelt invitation to our distinguished biennial race. From my current position at sea, I am with you in spirit, eagerly anticipating the sight of our home port in Helsinki bustling with eager sailors from every corner of the world."

The Roschier Baltic Sea Race is very much part of the Royal Ocean Racing Club ethos of encouraging yacht racing around the world for all sailors to participate in.

"After the successful launch of the first race, the RORC is delighted to welcome back boats from 2022 and would encourage more teams from the Baltic region and the rest of the world to experience this new offshore race, which has the unique peculiarity of almost constant daylight," commented RORC CEO Jeremy Wilton. "Together with the support of our partners in Finland, the Club will provide professional race management to ensure a safe and well organised event. A warm welcome awaits your arrival in Helsinki, followed by a proper celebration when the teams return to Finland's capital city."

One of the key organisers of the Roschier Baltic Sea Race in Helsinki is Sakari Kalske: "I am thrilled and delighted to extend a warm welcome to sailors from around the globe. This race promises a journey full of tactical challenges and exhilarating competition. Drawing on the experience of the first race, we anticipate an extraordinary test of skill and endurance. We eagerly await the arrival of boats from the Baltic and overseas. The Roschier Baltic Sea Race enriches Finland's maritime tradition, and we look forward to celebrating the spirit of racing with you all. Welcome aboard!"
