Palumbo Superyachts confirms the completion of the new shed at the Ancona facility.

  • Completed the construction of the new shed
  • Size: 19x60x19 m in height
  • A 2.9 million investment

The construction, which began last April, involved the creation of a new shed measuring 19 metres in width, 60 metres in length and 19 metres in height which will be used for the outfitting of superyachts.

This will be in addition to the three sheds already existing in the 52,000sqm Palumbo Superyachts Ancona production site. Besides the skilled team dedicated to the new yacht constructions, the shipyard benefits from the assistance of an expert squad providing aftersales maintenance and refit service to used boats. As well as its specialized manpower and dock capacities, the shipyard can also rely on a 560ton travel lift and a 3300ton superyacht lifting platform, the largest in the Adriatic Sea to date.

There are 10 superyachts ranging from 30 to 80 metres of EXTRA Yachts, Columbus and ISA Yachts lines currently under construction at the Ancona facility.

"With the completion of the new shed, we are getting a breath of fresh air in terms of logistical and production efficiency but we are always looking for new areas next to our construction site and overlooking the sea to better manage our orders. The positive trend that is going through the entire nautical industry, including the specialized one in the Marche Region, can result in concrete investments that companies are willing to make in their territory. A regional round table is being activated and I am sure that the entire nautical sector can strongly benefit from it." comments Giuseppe Palumbo, CEO of Palumbo Superyachts.
