Pioneering marine propulsion and boat control system specialist, Yamaha Motor UK has partnered with Bray Marine Sales to power its new range from Alonsea Boats.

A relatively new manufacturer near Gdansk in Poland, Alonsea Boats produces stylish, high-quality open days boats and small overnighters, with practicality and usability at the heart of their design.

The sole UK distributor for Alonsea Boats, Bray Marine Sales has chosen to work with Yamaha to power these affordable family 'picnic boats'.

"Ranging from 16ft to 20ft in varying styles, Alonsea's boats are perfectly designed for families to enjoy cruising along the UK's rivers and inland waterways, therefore, reliable, clean and efficient propulsion is a must," says Dominic Smulders of Bray Marine Sales.

"Yamaha's outboards fit the bill perfectly, with the Electronic Fuel Injection system (EFI) delivering outstanding levels of reliability and economy, while features such as the wide range power Trim & Tilt are ideal for the boats which are often trailered."

Yamaha supplies Bray Marine Sales with outboards from its Versatile, Mid Power and High Power ranges, from 9.9hp to 90hp, for its Alonsea portfolio.

"We're delighted to be partnering with Dominic and the team at Bray Marine Sales," says Jonny Twelvetrees, Manager, Marine Sales at Yamaha. "Alonsea's boats are perfect for families and first timers coming into boating, offering maximum enjoyment with minimum fuss, and we're delighted to power this unique range of river boats.

"We hope the proven quality, reliability and refinement of our engines and rigging, which have been developed through decades of design innovation, will give peace of mind to the Alonsea owners so they can maximise the enjoyment of their time out on the water."
