Welcome back to the Viking 80 demonstrator boat. Last week we featured the yacht's exterior, with its new Valhalla Grey gelcoat and extensive faux teak.

This time we showcase her gorgeous living spaces and accommodations. The interior not only provides the highest levels of comfort it also utilizes every square inch for various types of storage.

Above: The salon layout is open and inviting, providing easy access to all gathering areas, including the large wraparound lounge (with rod storage underneath) and accompanying cocktail table on the port side.

The fresh contemporary interior design features horizontal grain walnut (with a gloss finish) complemented by light tones for furnishings and décor. Above: The dinette table itself is a thing of beauty, boasting a wood and polished stainless steel base and ebony-framed walnut table. The raised dinette maximizes the views outside while providing a pull-out drawer for rods and additional storage areas.

You can never have enough countertop space, and the 80’s galley has what seems like miles of it. Slide into one of the three bar stools for a drink or a bite to eat.

Storage abounds in the galley, with enough space to stock up for lengthy fishing and cruising adventures. All the appliances are top-shelf, such as a Miele cooktop and stove and Sub-Zero freezer and refrigeration. Notice the nice wide galley entryway and the detailed inlay of the custom Amtico flooring.

Five generously appointed staterooms comfortably sleep 10, and our demo also features an extra berth in the pantry. The full-beam owner’s suite features a queen bed with custom upholstered headboard, port and starboard hanging lockers and credenzas, a seating area to starboard and a vanity/desk on the port side. The next-level woodworking, with its finely detailed joinery, can be seen throughout.

Each stateroom has an ensuite head with mirror ceilings and a large walk-in shower. The primary stateroom’s shower features a custom one-piece frameless glass door.

Luxury, comfort and storage are in ample supply no matter the stateroom. The port (above) and forward suites have walk-around queen beds (with storage underneath), full-size hanging lockers, end tables, overhead LED lighting, HD TVs and many other amenities.
