EUROSAF, the continental association for the sport of sailing in Europe, and the 69F Class, have agreed to organize the first European Championship of the class.

69F is the only one-design, full foiling monohull for crews circuit, it is foiling for everyone.

"We like the idea of this young class. Since the boat does not require particular strength, women's and men's teams have equal chances. It is a good entry level in the foiling area of sailing, and last but not least having a moving fleet is a future-oriented concept. So we are happy to support the 69F Class." says Josep M. Pla, president of EUROSAF.

The idea of the Class is to have moving fleets owned by the managing company, for a sustainable and lasting concept and to be able to reach good racing fleet number early in the boat life.

In 2023, the first European Championship will be held in conjunction with EUROSAF, in Puntaldia, Italy. The EUROSAF 69F European Championship will be one of five events of the Algebris 69F Cup 2023, which is an open circuit for anyone with a hitch for competition, speed and tight races.

The event consists of three training days supported by class experts and three days of racing with a max of six races per day, on different race courses.
