Delivered to her delighted owners at the end of last year, the 34-metre Blue Jeans has made many new friends on her maiden voyage.

After the handover at our yard in the Netherlands, this all-custom superyacht has cruised though Belgium, France and the UK to London, where this iconic shot was captured in front of Tower Bridge. Blue Jeans is due at her home berth in the Far East in late January.

One of the most complex superyachts we've created to date, Blue Jeans was built for clients who knew exactly what they wanted for their tailor-made raised pilothouse motoryacht. The exterior style is closely aligned with the request for high ceilings in the interior, which rise to almost 2.5 metres in the lounge.

Standout looks

The yacht's sleek profile features lots of exterior glass, including for the bulwarks. Her blue hull paint was developed with Alexseal while designer Guido de Groot used colours, surfaces and lights to remove any hint of white. Blue Jeanscarries a fully-custom bare aluminium tender placed sideways in her own large garage. This set-up generated space for a large engine room for the twin MTUs required to give a top speed of 28 knots.

Al fresco highlights include balconies both sides of the main deck and a retractable dive board on the flybridge. The anchor windlasses are hidden within the raised bow to free up room on the foredeck for a recessed chill-out zone with pop-up table. This cool feature typifies the detailed design and engineering which went into this project.
