2022 ILCA U21 World Championships at Villamora, Portugal - Day 2

by Katie Olsen 24 Aug 2022 22:01 PDT 21-28 August 2022

No races were completed on Wednesday at the 2022 ILCA U21 World Championships due to lack of wind.

The race committee waited until 15:00 to send the sailors out, but once on the water, the wind picked up to about 7 knots and was too shifty to hold a steady successful race. AP over A was displayed, and the fleets went back ashore. The scoreboard remains the same as yesterday.

Three races are scheduled for tomorrow with the first warning signal at 14:00. There is also a paella dinner party planned for the sailors tomorrow after racing.
