Euromarine Insurance Ramsgate Week 2022 Day 2 saw the IRC and Cruiser classes undertake different coastal courses in very light winds on the hottest day of the year.

Inshore there was barely 5 knots of breeze but once further offshore the wind picked up slightly. The IRC classes were sent off on an 18.26-mile, offshore course towards Broadstairs. Assassin was an early casualty, having to retire with a broken mainsail head-board. After a long race, there were extremely close finishes in both classes on corrected time.
