HD Sails Spinnaker Auction returns to support Merlin Rocket Aspire Nationals 2022

Bag yourself a brand-new crispy HD Sails Merlin Rocket spinnaker in the colour of your choice in time for the National and help support the event in the process!

We are delighted that once again HD Sails is donating a spinnaker to the Merlin Rocket Class to auction off and raise additional funds to support our 2022 National Champions at Mounts Bay from 31st July to 4th August.

RRP on the spinnaker including measurement is £525.47.

Entering is simple. Email your bid to between the 6th and 17th June to be in with a chance of enjoying that new sail feeling at the Nationals this year.

  • Auction Opening Date - Monday 6th June 2022 @ 00:01hrs
  • Bids to be emailed to
  • Closing Date for bids - Friday 17th June 2022 @ 23:59hrs
  • Announcement of winning bid - Monday 20th June 2022
  • Payment to MROA by - 1 July 2022 (in event of non-payment, next highest bidder will be contacted and offered the spinnaker).
  • Presentation of sail - Opening day of the Merlin Rocket Aspire National Championships 2022

"As a class we are subsiding a number of the entries looking to encourage more youth, first timers and those from further afield. This will all go towards helping get more boat there."
