Zeelander Yachts' fleet is growing. The renowned Dutch shipyard has just launched a new unit of the flagship Z72 line. The yacht has many new exciting features compared to the hull number one delivered last year.

"The array of custom updates the client requested make this a very different Z72'," commented Sietse Koopmans, Founder and Chairman of Zeelander Yachts. "These exciting new features belong to superyacht class. The quality, attention to detail, feeling of space and seagoing qualities are nothing short of excellent."

The new Z72, indeed, received several updates and options that made her, arguably, the most technologically advanced Zeelander so far. The yacht is equipped with a forward-looking sonar, an underwater camera and camera system in the front and aft. The aft and side windows on the main deck have privacy glass and can be tinted with a simple click on a button. From the outside, she keeps this timeless with a wide stern and curvy exterior lines developed in collaboration with Cor D. Rover.

The yacht has three suits on the lower deck, a spacious main deck saloon with huge windows and panoramic views, and a pair of alfresco social areas. A 10 square meter beach club is another strong highlight of this model.

"The client had some special requests," explained Sietse Koopmans. "The main deck bar with a pair of bar stools, adjacent to the interior galley, is shortened. We designed an L-shaped sofa instead of the other two stools to the left like the other Z72 had."

The yacht is also geared up for adventures and ready to explore. Four rod holders are installed in the stern between side boarding and swim platform. There are extra chargers and brackets for jet surf boards in the tender garage. Other extras include a diving plank on the bow, which is an amazing feature for everyone who likes some action. The Z72 tender garage is large enough to carry a 3.5-meter Williams tender.

The performance of the yacht is very sporty thanks to the triple 1,000-horsepower fuel efficient Volvo IPS 1350 engines. The Z72 reaches 40 knots and benefits from the Volvo Penta integrated joystick system for excellent manoeuvrability.

This is a very comfortable yacht. Advanced soundproofing and vibration control make her the apex of tranquillity. The layout is sophisticated as all areas are seamlessly connected and placed on the same level. The 20-meter Z72 is a low maintenance yacht and she offers the same easy operation as the other Zeelanders. The model is also available with a gyro stabilization system for optimal comfort.
