With three children aged from nine to one, Mark and Taina Greenaway wanted a boat they could cruise together as a family now and in the future. Also, a boat that Mark could race shorthanded offshore and inshore.

Their choice was the Grand Soleil 34, and in this short video below Mark Greenaway explains why they chose the Baby Grand.

Key Yachting have been selling Grand Soleil yachts for over a decade. Owners are typically couples or families looking for the comfort of a blue water cruiser, without compromising the characteristics of an outstanding performance yacht. The latest Grand Soleil designs maintain the award-winning Italian style, technology and innovation but with one major difference. Modern Grand Soleil yachts have more beam and chine than previous models, creating powerful hull forms, which also produce greater space below decks.

Grand Soleil build a wide range of yachts from the custom 80 through a number of different sizes of production racer cruisers and cruising yachts. Here is a look at the baby, Grand Soleil 34, Vellamo. Owner Mark Greenaway, cruises Vellamo with his family and also races her short-handed.

Grand Soleil will have the GS 42LC and GS 48 models on display at Cannes International Yachting Festival, 8 - 13 September 2020.

If you would like to discuss any aspects of the Grand Soleil range, or see any of the the models at the show, please email or call her on 02380 455669.
