Innovative custom boat builder Intrepid Powerboats will introduce its newest walkaround model, the Intrepid 345 Walkaround, at the 2019 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, Oct. 30 - Nov. 3.

Inspired by customer requests for roomy overnight accommodations in a smaller model, the 34-foot 345 Walkaround is designed to maximize space and guarantee comfort.

"Our goal was to take luxury features from our larger cabin models and create a mini yacht with the 345 Walkaround," said Ken Clinton, president of Intrepid Powerboats. "Our customers will be shocked by the amount of amenities packed into this 34-foot boat."

Complete with a well-equipped galley, separate head with shower and a large forward berth area, the 345 Walkaround is a comfortable overnight boat. For versatility and easy overnight conversion, the forward berth area was designed to maximize space with a spacious u-shaped settee that includes a high-low table that can become a filler for the berth. When the berth is not in use, a discreet compartment stores the filler cushions out of sight.

An ideal day boat as well, the 345 Walkaround features thoughtfully-designed seating above deck like an aft-facing seat beside the helm console that inspires interaction. A hull-side swing-in dive door with folding ladder makes water access easy. For fishing, the 345 Walkaround is equipped with above deck corner bait wells in the aft and a folding rear seat that disappears for more space.

To further enhance comfort and fishability, the 345 Walkaround can be custom styled and rigged through Intrepid's one-of-a-kind customization process. While this customization makes each Intrepid as unique as its owner, one constant element in every Intrepid boat is a distinct transverse stepped hull design that maximizes stability to ensure a smooth, dry ride.

Intrepid 345 Walkaround standard features include:

  • Integrated motor bracket for twin or triple engine configurations
  • Wood-free, PVC foam-cored construction and non-woven quad and uni-directional fiberglass fabrics both infused and hand laid to provide strength, rigidity and safety without performance-robbing weight
  • Intrepid's trademark hull-side swing-in dive door with folding ladder that makes water access easy
