Four of the 12 winners joined the RYA at the show to help celebrate the launch and collect their prizes.

Colin Pelton, who was a winner back in March with his photo entitled 'Sailing the horizon' commented: "I'm a keen supporter of the ilovesailing calendar competition having submitted entries over the last 3-4 years. It's a great honour to attend the prize giving and meet some of the other competition winners."

While fellow winner Alasdair McQuire who clinched his place on the calendar in May with his photo entitled 'Dive, Dive, Dive added: "I'm delighted to be a winner in the ilovesailing calendar competition and support the RYA at the Southampton Boat Show. It's a wonderful competition and I'll definitely be entering again next year."

Each of the winners took home a copy of the brand new 2020 calendar along with a bundle of other prizes including:

The ilovesailing calendar competition has been running for a number of years now and I am continually impressed with the quality and beauty of the images.

"The competition is a great way to share all the amazing pictures people take while out enjoying sailing, all around the world, and we hope that everyone loves it as much as we do and gets one for their kitchen or galley wall."
