Leading Australian luxury motoryacht manufacturer, Maritimo, is preparing for its largest Auckland on Water Boat Show exhibit, with a range of new vessels embarking on the Tasman crossing under their own power for the annual event.

Maritimo will display models from its' M-Series and X-Series range's which are both in high demand in New Zealand with orders out into late 2020.

New Zealand has largely been one of Maritimo's most successful markets due to the functionality of Maritimo vessels suited to the country's diverse coastal conditions and boating culture.

The Auckland on Water Boat Show follows successful exhibitions in Sanctuary Cove and Sydney, where Maritimo has continued to exceed company growth targets on the back of premiere model releases and product design upgrades.

Maritimo CEO Garth Corbitt said: "The Maritimo X-Series Sport Coupe's continue to gather international exposure and recognition for their unique aft cabin layout design and shaft driven performance, with New Zealand X-Series orders continuing to build".

"The Maritimo M-Series enclosed flybridge motoryachts, renowned for their ocean going engineering prowess and design functionality were perfect for New Zealand waters".

Maritimo has engrained the fully enclosed climate controlled flybridge with internal staircase access into its product identity with a design that creates a totally unique boating experience.

The latest M51 and M59 designs have undergone major exterior transformations along with interior refinements from previous editions.

Corbitt said New Zealand boat users will be amazed at the quality of craftsmanship, intelligent engineering and performance characteristics of these vessels.

"The Maritimo M-Series range forms the foundation of product from our brand, with a loyal customer base being its finest endorsement with owner's continually awestruck by the ride, comfort and performance of Maritimo's flybridge models in any conditions," he said.

"Maritimo has continually been leaders of flybridge motor yachts internationally for 15 years.

"With Maritimo's trusted race infused, industry leading shaft technology, climate controlled enclosed fly bridge, comfort and ease of maneuverability around the vessel for owners of all ages, I am confident new visitors to the brand and owners from our Maritimo family will be amazed at these new models."

Maritimo's Australasian sales manager, Ormonde Britton, said he expects the Auckland On Water Boat Show to further add to the momentum of Maritimo in recent times.

"We had a very strong Sydney International Boat Show and a few of our New Zealand clients came over for that," he said.

Britton said the healthy New Zealand economy and the fact that Maritimo buyers could have their boats delivered across the Tasman under their own power, saving approximately 50 percent on usual shipping costs, were positives.

"Maritimo's proven offshore record with our vessels able to make the crossing in about four days in the right conditions brings our boats closer than ever to the New Zealand market," he said.

"In fact the sea keeping capability of our range has strong appeal to New Zealand boaters who often use their vessels in some extreme conditions."

An exciting drawcard to the Maritimo display at Auckland on Water Boat Show will be the interest drawn to new custom build division 'Maritimo One'.

The new custom division within Maritimo's $15 million facility expansion has already seen a surge of enquiry from New Zealand in relation to sport fishing and expedition customization to existing M-Series models.

Britton said there are a number of customised M-Series models, including an M72, and M59 with sport cockpit and flybridge modifications, spec'd out for offshore fishing destined for New Zealand since the launch of Maritimo One.

"The team and I are eagerly looking forward to the show and we invite all past, present and future customers to drop by our display and have a look at the latest offerings from the Maritimo line," he said.

"The new generation M-Series flybridge motoryachts we will be showcasing, along with our X-Series sport yachts, are truly impressive."
