Last week, Superyacht Australia welcomed industry stakeholders and NSW members to officially announce the takeover of the Superyacht Sydney cluster.

Held at Circular Quay in Sydney Harbour, the event encouraged members and key industry players to network and learn about Superyacht Australia's objectives as the new administrator for NSW's superyacht industry body.

The networking event provided the perfect opportunity for new introductions, outlined Superyacht Australia's membership offering to the Superyacht Sydney group, informed guests what to expect throughout the takeover and looking forward to the future as a part of the national peak body.

David Good – Superyacht Australia CEO and MaryAnne Edwards – AIMEX Board Member were available to facilitate introductions and provide updates for members on what to expect moving forward.

David is excited to officially welcome the cluster under the national umbrella, and is looking forward to utilising the power behind the national body to leverage positive business outcomes for members of the Sydney cluster.

"Sydney's Harbour is one of the key reasons superyachts visit Australia, it is vital for the whole Australian industry that NSW continues to attract vessels and that they get the best possible service from the many small businesses that support them whilst here. Working collaboratively we can ensure that this occurs," he said.

Superyacht Australia are in the process of electing a new Sydney cluster committee. Key industry stakeholders will be appointed in the near future.
