Sail Canada Youth Championships at the Royal Canadian Yacht Club - Day 1

Day 1 at the 2018 Sail Canada Youth Championships brought in shifty winds in the morning, which slowly died down throughout the afternoon. Sailors hit the water at noon, and were able to complete three races in the C420, two in the 29er, and one in the Laser Radial, Laser 4.7, and I420 fleets.

Here are the preliminary results:

Laser Radial:

1st Ryan Anderson (RNSYS)
2nd Noah Collinson (CSDS/RCYC)
3rd Harrison Bruce (PCYC)

Laser 4.7:

1st Spencer Leman (RCYC)
2nd Isabel Foy (BYC)

I420:

1st Tate Howell (RCYC) & Madeline Gillis (RNSYS)
2nd Jack Groves (RNSYS) & Alex Fraser (HYC)
3rd John Gogan (RNSYS) & David Frost (NYC)

29er:

1st Thomas & William Staples (RSTLYC)
2nd Fraser Buck & Ethen Kinsman (RVYC)
3rd Audrey Staples & Walker Moffat (RSTLYC)

C420:

1st Ben Mosher & Will Birch (HYC)
2nd Wil Peters & Matthew Tiplady (BHYC)
3rd Scott Leduc & Jack Porter (BCC)
