For all those "brain freeze" moments, there are Davis Instruments Quick Reference Cards. Jam-packed with easy-to-read information on a wide range of boating topics, they're presented in a simple-to-use graphic summary form. Ideal for use at home as a training tool or on board when time is critical, they place a wealth of valuable data at the user's fingertips.

Full color, double-sided Davis Quick Reference Cards are made from durable, waterproof plastic for use on deck. 22cm x 28cm, they're three-hole punched for convenient storage in a binder.

Used by the US Coast Guard, US Coast Guard Auxiliary and US Power Squadrons, Quick Reference Card #125 Navigation Rules details right-of-way, lights, sound signals and much more. For the global voyageur, #127 International Nav Rules covers the International Maritime Buoyage System and COLREGS. More focused, #132 Celestial Navigation and #126 Coastwise Piloting explain specialized boating knowledge.

Davis Instruments' #131 Weather Forecasting card should be on board every boat. It covers how to predict weather changes from wind direction, barometric pressure and cloud type. A broad range of useful meteorology information is added, including how to interpret symbols used on forecast maps.

Covering small craft seamanship and safety, #128 Boating Guide is a valuable tool for any boat owner. It includes basic procedures and equipment such as engine fueling and troubleshooting, use of a VHF radio, right-of-way, buoys, anchoring, knot tying and more.

Pocket Quick Reference Cards are a collection of six cards joined with a stainless steel ring. They were developed in cooperation with the US Coast Guard Auxiliary and the US Power Squadrons and have the same rugged construction as the standard cards, but are a compact 7.6cm x 10.2cm. Included is essential information on pre-departure checks, fueling, buoys, rules-of-the-road, lights, sound signals, radio use and emergencies.
