Multihull Central are excited to announce their biggest ever showcase of sailing and power catamaran at this years Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, May 24-27, 2018.

Their display will feature six different multihulls, three Aquila Powercats, two Seawind Catamarans and a Corsair Trimaran. Of this debuting in Australia for the first time at a boat show will be the Seawind 1190 Sport, the Aquila 48, and the Corsair 760. Also on display will be the much loved Seawind 1260 and Aquila 44 as well as a brand new model of the Aquila 36 the 'fishing' version.

It is an extremely exciting time,' said Multihull Central's director Brent Vaughan.

'The popularity of multihulls is increasing throughout the world as people realise just how much they have to offer and this is reflected in the demand for new and improved models such as what we have here.'

'I believe this will be the largest display of multihulls by one exhibitor at an Australian boat show which reflects the interest we are receiving in our range.

Seawind 1190 Sport

The latest Seawind Catamaran, the Seawind 1190 Sport, is the ultimate combination of high performance sailing and cruising comfort. Taking the much loved Seawind 1160 design and interior layout, the design wasoptimized by Francois Perus in collaboration with Alan Carwardine, two of the industry's leading multihull designers. By using carbon where possible in the build and synthetic rigging her weight has been reduced by 600kg compared to the Seawind 1160 Lite. This combined with dagger boards and dagger rudders, reducing her wetted surface area greatly, and the large square top mainsail with deck sweeping jib, make for one of the only truly performance catamarans under 40ft.

Also on display is a four cabin Seawind 1260 available for bareboat or skippered charter in Moreton Bay through Moreton Bay Holidays Afloat. The Seawind 1260 is not only a popular charter boat, but also the ideal blue water cruising catamaran through the Pacific and beyond.

Corsair 760

Winner on OMR of her debut regatta at Geelong Race Week this year, the Corsair 760 is already making an impact on the multihull scene despite only having been in the country for a few months. Designed by Francois Perus and his team at Perus Yacht Design, the Corsair 760 is based on the long feedback list by current owners of its predecessor the Corsair 750 Dash. With plenty of bouncy in her floats and all lines leading back to the cockpit she is fast, easy and comfortable to sail whether short handed or fully crewed. In cruising mode there is plenty of room to accommodate a family or friends, with all the essentials taken care of.
