The UK International Moth Class Association (IMCA UK) is pleased to announce that leading sailing TV channel VRsport.tv will be the headline sponsor for the International Moth UK National Championships 2016. The championships will be contested between Saturday 27th and Tuesday 30th August and hosted by Weymouth & Portland National Sailing Academy.

Following on from the GBR clean sweep of the podium at the recent YANMAR Moth Worlds 2016 in Japan, the VRsport.tv International Moth UK Nationals 2016 should be spectacular and highly competitive with over 70 foiling machines expected to attend including some of the hottest names in sailing.

VR Sport Media will be filming everyday bringing viewers across the globe daily coverage of the racing, interviews, thrills and spills!

James Sainsbury, President of IMCA UK commented, "The Moths are followed by a wide audience and we have worked with great producers over the years. It is important that we continue to produce high quality output and make it available across all platforms and we are pleased to work with VRsport.tv to showcase the 2016 Moth Nationals to both competitors and followers around the world."

Simon Butterworth, Managing Director of VR Sport Media, said "VRsport.tv is thrilled to be headline sponsor of such a prestigious foiling event – we know our viewers around the world will be glued to their phone, tablet or computer throughout the regatta. The VRsport.tv UK Moth Nationals 2016 is one of many high profile events our Media Crew will be covering exclusively throughout the 2016 season."
